I was tasked with redesigning Tech Dispenser's call to action. Previously its value proposition was a tagline, but I pointed the user in a specific direction, added some steps to clarify the process and included an image that depicts the final product.
Five of IDG's sites needed a redesign of their newsletter signup forms, so I created a simpler and more intuitive user interface for Computerworld, NetworkWorld, ITworld, CIO and InfoWorld. It wasn't my idea to pre-check additional newsletters, but we'll have to wait and see how they convert.
Here's a design I did for Babson's Investment Tower, courtesy of Growth Spark. The site was built as a custom WordPress theme.
This is the first redesign I did for Terrene, a design project courtesy of Growth Spark. We were in the final stage of the design process when the company hired a new COO who decided he wanted something a little different, hence version 2 (below).
Terrene previously had a flash-based layout with a disorganized navigation. I created a new design incorporating a lot more whitespace, cleaner imagery and a more intuitive navigation. The site was built using WordPress as a content management system through the web consulting firm, Growth Spark.
This is the landing page for an SEO project I did for Boston Academy of English. My colleague and I wrote and distributed articles, videos and links, created thriving Facebook and MySpace fan pages, and built a Drupal-based site and email capture system. All but two of our keyword phrases became top-listed in Google.
The inventors of the Wallcoaster contacted me after seeing one of my videos for a related product and asked if I'd be willing to create a viral video for them in exchange for affiliate commissions on referral sales. Grass-rootsy viral video marketing is exploding on YouTube, so I was happy to take on the project.
Growth Spark's company website needed a new look and feel. This was my first redesign for the site.
Here's my second draft of a redesign for Growth Spark. I made it simple and different, with dark colors to accentuate the brightness of the portfolio. Ultimately the company went with a different design, but this was a good opportunity to experiment with a darker color scheme, which I hadn't used before.
I built a custom WordPress theme for Write Biz Plan's new website. The design was done by Above the Fold.
I was commissioned through Above the Fold to build Our Money Place's new website redesign as a custom Drupal theme.
This is a logo I did on a pro-bono basis for Women of Means, a Boston-based healthcare nonprofit. I also make periodic updates to their website.
Despite its waning popularity as a social network, this is a redesign I did for Mimoco's MySpace fan profile. I also built the page, which was not easy, given MySpace's terrible HTML-editing interface.
I facilitated Mimoco's GURP contest, which consisted of building a Drupal page, reaching out to fans to encourage video submissions and getting the word out about the contest to tech and art blogs. We were ultimately sponsored by Gizmodo, NOTCOT and Cool Hunting.
I conceived a new user interface for Mimoco's newsletter signup form to gather additional segmentation data and incentivize the sharing of the signup and accompanying discount.
This is a newsletter I designed for Mimoco's attendance of the Rothbury Music Festival. Every week I designed and built the company's newsletters.
Andy's Parties is a kids' birthday parties company who needed a new content management system for their website. I helped build them a custom Drupal theme, courtesy of Above the Fold.
