People think my work is about startups, but it's actually about belonging.

I know what it feels like to grow up without it. My childhood was chaotic, and for years I carried that instability with me.

Today, every founder dinner, investor intro, and community I build is an attempt to create the kind of experience I wish existed when I was younger.

I have a complicated past. I grew up in a violent household, and for years I repeated patterns that I didn't understand. It took jail, accountability, and years of work to become the person I wanted to be. That was 20 years ago. Since then, I've spent my life building the opposite.

Belonging isn't something we discover. It's something we create for one another.

I've founded and sold two companies, built communities in every city I've lived in, and today run Astronomic, where we bring founders and investors together in person and online. The right introduction can change a life.

Entrepreneurship is one of humanity's greatest engines of progress. My purpose is to help the right people find each other. No one goes to the moon alone.
